About Me
My name is AJ Francioni and I am a current 3rd year Doctorate of Physical Therapy student at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. My capstone project is developing this website as a tool for students and clinicians to access the most updated and clinically relevant research for these common outcome measures used for the neurological population and assessing risk for falls. My passion for fall prevention and working with patients that have neurological conditions really sparked this interest so students can be more prepared when performing these measures in clinic and healthcare providers are more aware of the psychometrics behind these tests.
Experience:
Completed 120 hours of neurological clinical time with emphasis on fall prevention
Completed 8 weeks of clinical time working at PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly)
OTAGO certified
Volunteer with CHAMP (Community Health and Mobility Partnership) with emphasis on fall prevention
Volunteer with Free From Falls (fall prevention program for people with Multiple Sclerosis)
